Web Developer  

The Web Developer will design, develop, configure, test, implement and sustain effective, compliant e-commerce solutions. Maintain and improve current website including writing and editing content, design webpage layout, determine technical requirements, update websites, create back up files, solve code problem; constant communication with a colleague to deliver results within tight deadlines;

• Translate design comprehensives into web and mobile standards
• Make projects come alive through interactive elements
• Build mobile and touch-optimized websites and applications
• Integrate with back-end systems to create rich, data-driven web applications
• Monitoring and reporting on the ranking/analytics, maintaining and improving as required and needed
• Assist in establishing and product management and web development processes and standards
• Work with our Marketing Department to develop marketing strategies for e-commerce
• Define, prioritize, and manage e-commerce roadmaps, capabilities, and enhancements
• Assist with updating website with product images, weights, categories, product specs, PDF spec sheet as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
• Experience in developing e-commerce websites
• Solid understanding and experience with building and maintaining Squarespace and Shopify websites and other content management systems
• Strong scripting skills
• A strong sense of UI/UX design and layout
• Understanding of order management/customer fulfillment in an e-commerce context
• Understanding of Google products such as webmaster tools, analytics, PPC, AdWords
• Knowledgeable in Facebook/Instagram Pixel Codes integration
• Data management – skills in management, importing & exporting data
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Knowledge of best practices for web page performance
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong and Proven design experience
• Coordination and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, able to pick up company needs and requirements quickly and independently
• Experience in APIs and website services an advantage
