Job Description
- Monitors inventory levels of items in the stores.
- Makes purchase orders based on replenishment requests from the stores.
- Signed and approved by the President / CEO.
- For new items, requests for samples from suppliers and gives these to Store Operations Manager for approval.
- Once the samples are approved, makes merchandise order sheet for the stores.
- To be approved by Merchandising Officer, Operations Consultant, and President/CEO.
- Once the samples are approved, makes merchandise order sheet for the stores.
- Makes sell-through report as an attachment to the merchandise order sheet.
- Qualifies suppliers based on accuracy of measurement / specifications, quality of the product, saleability of design, and production capability
- Monitors sales of consigned items and stock levels monthly, based on submitted figures from the branches.
- Submits sales report of consigned items monthly and gives request for payment to Accounting.
- Makes supplier delivery report, which acts as the request for payment to be submitted to Accounting.
- Attends trade fairs and conferences to source for other suppliers and products.
- Suggests new products and new designs to suppliers and monitors production of these new products and designs up to delivery.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by immediate Supervisor from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Fashion Merchandising.
- Skilled in product selection and development.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent in verbal and written communication.
- Good at brand / inventory management and performance analysis.
- Mindful of target market and challenges.
- Enjoys discovering new vendors and nurturing relationships.
