Job Description
OFFICE: TESDA Central Office Learning Resource Center
PROJECT DURATION: October-December 2016
The hiree shall:
- Assist the Librarian in the operation of the library;
- Digitize collections for online access;
- Assist the Librarian in coordinating, planning and implementation of activities and service concerns of the Library;
- Promote and advocate Library utilization;
- Extend technical assistance to Library clients;
- Perform other functions as may be assigned.
Core competencies:
- Assists in the development of Library system, programs, and projects;
- Assists in the implementation of Library policies and system;
- Assists in library resources cataloguing. and classification.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Library and Information Science or related fields;
- Must be creative, innovative and people-oriented;
- Proficient in oral/written communications;
- Computer proficient;
- Possess good moral character and work ethics;
- Must be hardworking, patient and diligent;
- Appropriate CS eligibility is an advantage.
