HR Generalist  

COMPANY POLICY AND PROGRAMS

• Assists in conducting Human Resource policy and program research and development projects including:
  • Develop research format.
  • Collect data.
  • Formulate results.
  • Regularly create reports regarding employee benefits, personnel changes, and other human resource activities.
  • Make employee handbook.
  • Update and assist in the implementation and application of new and existing personnel policy.
• Maintain records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in rollout and implementation of HR programs.
• Attend Human Resource related seminars and conferences and read industry journals and magazines to stay current on trends and legal requirements.
• Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes.
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
• Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities, grievances, and key result areas in relation to performance evaluation etc.
• Develop standard and adhoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics.
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.

MAINTENANCE OF RECORD

• Completetermination paperwork and assisting with exist interviews.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

• Use management practices that promote collegiality, teamwork, and collaborative decision making among staff.

OTHERS

• Answer employee questions.
• Create and distribute documents.
• Set appointments and arrange meetings.
• Maintain calendars of HR management team.
• Compile and prepare reports and spreadsheets.
• Ensure that department operations contribute to the attainment of company’s goals and objectives.
• Recommend policies that improve human resource related programs.
• Participate in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of human resource rules, regulations, and practices.
• Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, and Industrial Engineering.
• Preferably with 1-4 years experience in HR.
• Knowledgeable of the recruitment and selection of personnel.
• Knowledgeable of the employee communications programs.
• Knowledgeable of the Administrative hearing and procedures.
• Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to:
  • Implement policy and procedures.
  • Interpret data.
  • Manage personnel
