Job Description
In general, these are the things that we are looking for when hiring:
- Experience with Liquid in multiple contexts including - theme templates | email notifications | Order Printer etc.
- Up to date with HTML5, CSS3, and current web technologies
- You will want to play around and get to know the Timber Framework
- Working knowledge of jQuery
- Experience creating/modifying themes or web templates (e.g. Wordpress. Tumblr, SMARTYPHP)
- Spent some time making yourself aware of our Markup and styling guide
- Knowledge of what makes good online UX & UI
Minimum Qualifications
These are the things that really get us excited:
- Bachelor's degree (IT-related, Engineering)
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN
- Experience using CSS preprocessors (e.g. SCSS, LESS) and/or build tools (e.g. Grunt. Gulp)
- Having worked with or studied Javascript in the past or present
- General programming knowledge (i.e. some of the current Theme Specialists have engineering degrees)
