The responsibilities of the Payroll Officer are the following:
- Onboards, prepares, and issues employee contracts to new Tanda employees.
- Prepares employee payroll on a fortnightly basis.
- Prepares and pays superannuation as required.
- Prepares payment summaries for employees.
- Maintains employee data in Xero Tanda and other files.
- Reviews expense reimbursements, travel allowances, and pays as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Finance/Accounting qualifications or equivalent work experience.
- 1 year Australian payroll experience.
- Knowledge and experience of Xero accounting software is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Australian tax laws, payroll legislation, and superannuation.
- Proficient in Excel and other Office tools.
- Ability to work in a highly demanding environment.
