Job Description
#Closing
● Achieve Individual Revenue targets assigned
● Draft, Review, Develop, presentations, proposals and contracts.
● Negotiate and close while providing the Software Engineering team with the information and scope needed to execute the contract.
● Contribute to the company’s quarterly and annual revenue targets and support the business development efforts of the sales team.
#LeadGen
● Generate independently, new leads and assess other inbound leads.
● Generate sales leads utilizing other methods including social media messages, marketing, attendance at trade shows, etc.
#Growth Strategy, Campaign creation, and management
● Maximise the contract value of all sales engagements, upselling and cross-selling where possible on existing/potential clients in the vertical being handled
● Identify, create/develop, manage, and implement new campaign/s, businesses and sales opportunities and thereby achieve business/sales growth objectives, locally and outside the country.
● Works and coordinates with various team departments such as sales, marketing and Engineering in terms of launching new business, redesigning / improvement of business plans, obtaining feedback/recommendation from these departments, and other related tasks that
involve team coordination.
#Research
● Executes and undertakes business developments initiatives such as completion of market research, competitor analysis, feasibility studies, business proposals, and others as assigned/tasked by the Sales Director.
● Develop in-depth knowledge of the domain assignment, product, or domain.
#Marketing
● Support the development of sales and marketing material in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Director.
● Work closely with the sales & marketing team and project delivery
manager to ensure opportunities are maximized #presentations
● Attend prospect and customer meetings, in person or online, in providing expert information and demonstrations of the Impact of the proposed solution and other bespoke software value propositions.
#Admin
● Accurately and reliably track and report sales pipeline status to Sales and Marketing Director using Company CRM during the scheduled weekly meetings.
● Perform schedule management, records management, information preparation, communication liaison tasks, collection follow-ups and other related functions as deemed needed to achieve goals
● Prepares relevant reports such as budget, expenses, client
information, weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly status, and other relevant reports to track and report successes as well as opportunities for improvements.
#Account Management
● Assists in client relationship management by developing, implementing and analyzing various customer needs and relationship strategies to maintain or future increase client and business opportunities
● Fulfills and completes business-related applications, accreditations and documentation such as permits/clearances/licenses/etc. to achieve organizational and government compliance.
#Others
● Represents the team and/or organization, if Sales Director or other team members are not available, by attending various client meetings, business-related seminars or events, and other tasks as assigned by the Director to ensure smooth operation of the team.
● Performs other job-related responsibilities assigned by the Immediate Superior
Minimum Qualifications
● Have about 5 years experience of dealing with contracts in the region of Php 50M with at least 5 years of related work experience preferably gained in an IT solution (software development and customization services) and product resource management of direct sales and/or business development experience
● Have a proven track record in new business development and exceeding sales targets
● Be confident presenting to all levels (door opening) including influencers, decision-makers, Users, C-levels management.
● Have a background in software solution sales for mid-sized/ Enterprise businesses
● Experience Custom Software Development, BFSI, Data Solutions, Retail, and Healthcare verticals a Plus
● Excellent grasp of offshore outsourcing, cloud technologies and managed service offerings
● Strong analytical skills
● Advanced oral, exceptional written, communication and presentation skills
● Possess an entrepreneurial nature with the ability to think outside of the box to implement an effective business strategy
● Have experience in proposal writing.
● Team player with good interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to work across various teams
● Enthusiastic, problem-solving approach with a strong competitive appetite to close customer contracts
● Initiative to identify and promote innovative new ideas to drive the business forward
● A self-starter who isn’t afraid to generate their own leads and who can hit the ground running
● Someone who is Credible, goal-oriented, and confident
● Someone who can successfully identify the relevant key decision-makers and maintain this level of contact
