Job Description
- You will be testing applications and services of a telecommunication system based in Malaysia.
- You will be working in an international work environment.
- You will document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers and project managers.
- You will execute test cases and prepare test reports.
- You will need to contribute ideas to improve our QA processes and best practices based on experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years experience in testing applications and systems
- Experience in creating test deliverables such as Test Strategies, Test scenarios, metrics and automation test scripts
- Understand the QA methodologies and a strong grasp of the process.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle
- Intermediate knowledge in Unix-based system
- Intermediate scripting knowledge in bash (Unix), batch(Window) and Javascript
- Basic to intermediate programming knowledge in C#, Java
- Basic to intermediate knowledge using databases (MySQL, Oracle)
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other documentation tools
- Knowledge with testing tools which can be introduced to the team or company; (good to have but is not required)
- Familiarity with telecommunication system is a plus but is not required
- Ability to write test scripts or test scenarios to test
- Good oral, written and presentation skills
