Job Description
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Set technology direction by applying in-depth technical know-how to business objectives
- Performs expert-level systems development and design work that may include network, storage, backup, server platforms, desktop, database, middleware, monitoring application and security
- Establish software design principles and coding standards within the organization, and ensure timely execution of the technical roadmap within the teams
- Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions
- Serve as a liaison between the business and technology; oversee the software team and work with product development, product requirement, QA, technical operation, sales and support organization
- Analyze and improve the software quality, including scalability, stability and security
- Stay up to date with software technologies and solutions
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering field
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Familiar with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
- Deep understanding of Android and iOS Operating Systems
- Working knowledge of Apple Xcode.
- Expertise in multiple languages including Javascript, Coffeescript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Objective-C, Swift & Java
- In-depth knowledge with various web technologies – Meteor, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Django, Ionic, Phonegap/Cordova, Bootstrap, foundation, Wordpress, Drupa, .NET, Angula.js, Ember.js, Backbone.js
- Complete understanding of database systems like MySQL, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB etc.
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
