Job Description
Scope of Work:
- Convert and re-layout different file set-ups to the required format of the application (e: EPUB / CBR/CBZ)
- Report and track the progress of conversion and note the difficulties / land track progress of items in conversion.
- Gather existing materials or work from designers and writers to create new artwork or text.
- Find and edit graphics, such as photographs or illustrations.
- Scan drawings and other materials into digital images.
- Import text and graphics into desktop publishing software programs (e: Adobe InDesign)
- Place/position artwork and text on the page layout.
- Select formatting properties, such as text size, column width, and spacing.
- Check proofs of preliminary layouts and make corrections if necessary.
- Finalize formatted documents for electronic publication / reading on mobile phone / tablets.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Fine Arts, or any related field to Graphic Design.
- 3-5 years of work experience in a digital publishing/Digital Conversion company.
- Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite, preferably an expert in Adobe InDesign.
- Hardworking, diligent, and patient.
- Flexible and can easily adapt to the working environment.
- Willing to work on extended hours.
- Willing to work in Quezon City.
