Graphic Designer

Job responsibilities depend on skill or specialisation, but may include:

Pure website design

• Producing designs to update existing websites
• Producing new website designs
• Creating website page designs

UI or UX development

• Produce user interface for webapps
• Research UI/UX
• Create graphic designs of interfaces

Marketing

• Creating and maintaining style guides
• Creating corporate branding packs, logos, brochures
• Conversion rate optimsation e.g. A/B testing for conversion
• Creating email campaigns
• Social media related work

Your first tasks will be:

• Design and re-design a number of our websites
• Create layouts for brochures and company identity documents and items
• Produce images to update our social media sites
• Use an existing look and feel template and create a number of conversation pages for one of our businesses

We're looking for a graphic designer who is a generalist or has skill in any number of specialisations, such as:

• Strong marketing acumen and core skill set in the web design arena or as a creative manager
• Strong skills in UI and/or UX design - either on the design and/or analytics side
• Strong skills in conversion rate optimisation - either on the design and/or analytics side
• Strong skills in photography, videography and/or illustration that translates into digital graphic design
• Strong project or creative leadership skills related to creative design (e.g. producing websites or multimedia projects)

Skills and experience required:

• Highly proficient, expert in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent OR highly proficient in one of the specialisations tools
• Ability to design from concept to final artwork, strong understanding of digital and even print production
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and across multiple concurrent projects, highly organised multi-tasker that can work efficiently and independently
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ideally a tertiary qualification in graphic design, visual communications or equivalent
• Ideally working knowledge of web design and front-end web coding (html, css, javascript)
• Ideally has experience with landing pages
