iOS Developer | Native  

We’re looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. The role will require communicating and working with other designers, engineers and developers for different layers of the infrastructure, so if collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are your thing, let’s talk!

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

• Experience with the following:
  • iOS frameworks such as Core Animation, etc.
  • Offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Performance and memory tuning with tools (such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs).
• Familiarity with the following:
  • Firebase platform for mobile applications.
  • RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Continuous integration.
• Proficient with Swift and Cocoa Pods.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, Mercurial or SVN).
• Knowledgeable of the following:
  • Other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• High fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
