Job Description
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Work with outside data sources and API’s
- Unit-test codes for robustness, including use cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Participate in the design and development of highly interactive mobile and tablet apps
- Ensure the quality of the code on projects
- Monitor the progress of junior developers, and mentors them as needed
- Proactively research on new development technologies
- Drives process-improvement initiatives to improve team efficiency
- Participate in project planning, and provide feasibility reports and development timelines to the working team
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Must have a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and an expert in Android UI programming
- Must have SCRUM experience
- Required programming skills: Java (J2EE/J2ME) using Android Studio IDE
- Proficiency in the following:
- Bluetooth communications
- Software design patterns such as MVP and MVVM
- Experienced in the following:
- HTML5
- CSS
- JavaScript
- PHP
- Database Management (mostly SQL)
- API integration or any third-party libraries(XML/JSON,SOAP,REST)
- Knowledge of the following a plus:
- Kotlin
- Hybrid App Development using platforms and tools such as PhoneGap and React Native
- GIT version control systems
- Code collaboration
- Preferably 4-6 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
