Job Description
- Understand the business and software requirements specifications
- Translate requirements, concepts, visions into mockups, wireframes, user stories/journeys optimized for various devices and platforms
- Provide user interface design assets and documents required for the development of web and mobile applications, such as but not limited to images, icons, animations, video clips
- Identify design or user experience issues and help solve these issues
- Conduct quality assurance testing related to design and structure and check the application after the development and ensures that the project requirements are met
- Work with teams to brainstorm, discuss, build applications and resolve issues
- Provide insights and suggest ideas on how to improve overall user experience and add more value to the application
Minimum Qualifications
- BS Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/Visual Design or related field
- Two (2) or more years of experience in UX design
- Proficient understanding of user-centered and responsive design, cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Must have excellent graphic/web design, animating and wireframing skills
- Required Software Skills:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe PhotoShop
- The following skills a plus:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Experience Design or any Prototyping and Wireframing Tool
- Familiarity with web and mobile development (PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Swift(iOS) and Java(Android))
- Good communication skills - English and Filipino (verbal and written)
- Good grasp of native iOS and Android app elements
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design
- Should be enthusiastic and passionate about UX and the other latest trends and technologies
