Team Manager | Poultry Client Operations  

Sustansiya, a fast-growing agribusiness startup, is seeking Team Managers to join our highly-motivated team. As Team Manager, you will supervise one of our operations teams providing services to poultry growers across Central Luzon. Sustansiya harvests poultry growers’ chickens and then cleans out their sheds in rapid time, and the Team Manager will ensure we deliver the highest-quality service in rapid turnaround time to our customers. Responsibilities

The Team Manager will take a dynamic leadership role as we scale up our services for poultry growers. You will actively pursue people management in a fast-paced environment, acting as the manager and supervisor of all Sustansiya services resources deployed into a poultry farm. Multiple group captains or leads may report up to you.

Specific job responsibilities include:

• Organize and lead one of our operational teams.
• Develop and execute a plan for servicing each poultry shed, adapting to the unique requirements of each site.
• Carefully monitor time to ensure your team arrives and completes each job on time.
• Continually re-engineer and improve our operational processes to make them faster and of higher quality.
• Help train poultry services team members on new and innovative processes.
• Track company equipment, distributing it to workers at the start of each job and collecting it at the end.
• Ensure safety of team members at all times, identifying potential risks and taking immediate action to mitigate them.
• Record data and reports on services provided via a company smartphone or paper as needed.
• Conduct ad-hoc projects and miscellaneous tasks as needed
• Serve as Liaison with Management team and VP of Operations.

• Graduate of Agriculture, Animal Science, or any related course.
• At least 3 years of work experience in leadership and people management providing service to customers.
• Preferably with experience in poultry services or animal health.
• Experience as a Construction Foreman is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Tagalog, Ilocano fluency is preferred
• Knowledge of welding and equipment machinery operations is an advantage.
• Excellent people skills and comfortable leading large teams.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

• Punctual and consistently meets deadlines.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of Sustansiya.
• Willing to work during late night or early morning shifts.
• Willing to travel across Central Luzon to Metro Manila and Calabarzon as needed.

  • Has own vehicle (car, motorbike, or other) for transportation to different sites.
