About the Public Policy & Government Relation role:

Public Policy & Government relation will work with line of authorities and governments across the region and build a network and relations with the relevant stakeholders and help to advocate, negotiate or defend positions, including in potentially contentious areas. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in think tanks, trade associations, government ministries or the legislature and executive branch will be a big plus.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage appropriate corporate membership opportunities in leading industry associations and seek thought leadership in long term;
• Liaison with government bodies such as Ministry of Communication and Informatics to represent the company and identify common grounds of interest for collaboration;
• Monitor, identify and codify internet public policy issues faced by the company locally and globally, recommend measures based on evidence and professional expertise.

• 8+ years of experience in think tanks, trade associations, government ministries or the legislature and executive branch will be a big plus;
• Able to work in a proactive, highly engaging and fast-paced environment;
• Can do attitude with high willingness to learn;
• Self-motivated and highly developed interpersonal skills;
• A strong level of proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a must;
• Preferably have a degree in law, politics, international relations/trade, journalism.
