3D CAD Design Engineer  

Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the 3D CAD Design Engineer performs a variety of design/drafting activities including preparing/updating installation drawings for projects, preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings. Other duties to be performed as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES

• Prepare dimensional drawings for part assemblies used in mold making;
• Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with the company headquarters in Japan to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
• Review drawings to check for assembly errors and revise and update drawings from Japan headquarters for manufacturing to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
• Works with Managing Director in executing the design drawings on guidelines for installation drawings which meet and exceed the customer’s requirements (bid and submittal phase). Implement these requirements on drawings sent to the customer.
• Undertake necessary training in- and out-of-country as required.

College degree is preferred but NOT a requirement, but candidate must have excellent skills and ideally 2-3 year’s experience doing drafting/drawing work (minimum one year experience). AutoCAD experience required. If NOT willing to relocate and/or work in Santo Tomas, Batangas, candidates MUST NOT apply.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Associate's degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field
• At least two (2) years of related work experience doing 2D and 3D CAD design; Strong drafting skills and knowledge of 2D and 3D designing
• Must have experience in mold design or knowledge of the mold making industry
• Experience using Autocad 2D design software (required).
• Part modeling and detailing experience using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD Parametric software (desired).
• Willing to undergo relevant training
• Willing to work in Santo Tomas, Batangas (NON-NEGOTIABLE!)
