- Perform application software installation/upgrades both from standard repositories or build from source.
- Configuring applications and any supporting services
- Perform systems and network troubleshooting, and problem resolution activities with other support teams (e.g. developers and vendors).
- Produce root cause analysis findings that focus on recommendations to learn from and avoid problem recurrence.
- Proactively identify and automate repetitive tasks
- Build and analyze metrics data to conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and reliability testing
- Write, maintain, deploy complex host configuration and alerting scripts
- Tuning an application for best performance or providing a recommendation for related code changes.
- Proven experience scripting to automate tasks using a common scripting language
- Experience in troubleshooting server, and application issues
- Oversee and troubleshoot backups, recovery, site administration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in Windows Server
- Proficiency in IIS Server configuration
- Expertise with SQL Server
- Knowledge and experience with development tools – Visual Studio, Git, Jenkins, TFS, PowerShell
- Design, modify, develop, write and implement applications and APIs.
- 1+ years cloud management (AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.)
- Solid understanding of DNS
- Demonstrated effective communication skills
- Willing to work in Makati City and Night Shift schedule
