Job Description
- Responsible for the preparation and implementation of interior design for all model units.
- Conducts site investigation and analysis to gain insight and idea on which specific schemes can be used by visiting the housing unit to be interior furnished and designed.
- Prepares the interior design plans and specifications to have a concrete representation of the mix of furniture, curtains, cabinets, closets, including floor layout, interior paint finishes, and tiles by creating schemes
- Oversees the implementation of the interior design works to ensure that the furnishings, closets, and cabinets, etc. are located as per the approved design and specifications by supervising the actual interior furnishing activities.
- Prepares the bill of quantities and cost estimates of all interior design materials to ascertain that the proposed cost is within the approved budget by submitting a quantity take-off with corresponding unit costs.
- Inspects the interior furnishings as soon as these are delivered on site to eliminate substandard materials and make sure that the item delivered were the ones purchased by comparing the delivered materials with the standard specifications and requirements.
- Prepares the set of furniture and accessories lists to determine the actual number of furnishings and accessories installed in the unit and for inventory.
- Conducts canvassing and selection of furniture and materials to ensure that these comply with the approved design specifications thru furniture/ shop visits, and comparing with brochures and catalogues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Interior Design
- With at least 1 year related work experience in interior design and implementation.
- Computer literate (MS Application), knowledgeable in AUTOCADD, Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop, and other software needed in Interior Designing.
- Willing to be assigned at McKinley Hill, Taguig City.
