Sales Data Analyst  

Design and delivery: Oversee the delivery of sales information and data reports needed by various users in relation to contest & campaign tracking, trending & final results, new business production metrics, performance validation and persistency. Proactively generate feedback from the users to understand their current data requirements (content, form, delivery mode and frequency, etc.) with the intent of designing according to their needs. Anticipate changes in user requirements on a periodic basis.

Resource and capability planning: Develop the team’s resources and capability in satisfying current and future business requirements through training and tools; and by partnering with external resource providers (Phil IT, ASCP, Digital team, etc.) to improve the sales information infrastructure. Actively participate in department/company projects that are related to sales data & analytics.

Analytics: Provide data-driven insights to stakeholders (distribution management, channel management, project owners) that will guide them in strategic and tactical planning and execution. Lead the team in adopting the “analytics” discipline in relation to contest or campaign results & effectiveness; and other sales reports.

Quality assurance: Establish appropriate processes and control activities to ensure the integrity of sales information and data reports in order to provide users with accurate information, and to comply with internal controls/audit practices.

User adoption: Drive user appreciation and adoption of available sales information and data reports through regular training & communication. Reinforce user adoption by recognizing and sharing best practices, and establishing “champions”.

Manage team performance through resource & execution planning, business & performance review, mentoring and coaching, talent development, and staff engagement activities.

Education
· College graduate preferably of Math or Statistics course, or any business related course

Experience
· At least 5 years of experience in sales information management and/or business analytics/intelligence works.
· At least 3 years of people management experience.
· Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel
· Proficient in basic analytics tool like SAS, or SPSS, etc
· Execute changes in process, principles or standards in a manner that provides buy-in and transition to the new state; address obstacles to adaptation; review lessons learned.
· Work through an inter-department team (i.e. project team) to achieve the business requirements of Sales Dept, while balancing the interests of other stakeholders (i.e. outside Sales Dept) and resource requirements.
