Job Description

Senior iOS Developer

Summit Digital websites lead the industry in reaching targeted audiences passionate about a wide range of interests—fashion, beauty, food, entertainment, home, travel, motoring, business, and pop culture.

The Senior iOS Developer plays an integral part of the build, test, integration and delivery phases of mobile application development. Will work closely with project managers and media designers or internal teams to ensure the final product adheres to the scope and design.

As a Senior iOS Developer, you will:

Designing and building advanced applications for the iOS platform
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong knowledge proficient with Objective-C or Swift and Apple’s Xcode IDE
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Knowledge of the iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git
