Project Specialist  

Core Function:

The Project Specialist's main responsibility is to ensure proper and efficient implementation of StoryLabs projects, optimizing time, manpower, and budgets to achieve products of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Will be under StoryLabs department.
• Acts as content strategist and project manager for all projects without shoot.
• Manage the implementation of approved editorial strategies to ensure adherence to agreements with clients/advertisers.
• Tasks include coordination with account, editors, writers, video producers, producers, developers, and other members of StoryLabs, as well as Summit Media’s brand, and sales teams.
• Monitor the daily team deliverable to make sure load is evenly distributed, and every deliverable is addressed and submitted within agreed timelines.
• Determine if rush projects can still be accommodated by assigned team given productivity record and daily load threshold per person.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-10 years of experience in a marketing or agency environment.
• Demonstrated skill in project management and in assessing tasks vs time and manpower to be able to sustainably produce quality content at scale.
• Avid consumer of media of all types.
• Avid consumer of media, advertising, and branded content of all types.
• Confident, with a thick skin, a great sense of humor, and an appetite for unexpected opportunities in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.
• Passion for Summit Media brands and branded editorial content is a must.
• Expert administration and project management skills, able to walk internal and external clients through the creative production process, from pre-sales to project wrap. Is able to leverage experience to manage best-in-class content in a professional, knowledgeable, and lively manner.
