Job Description
The Business Development Manager shall be in charge of improving and growing the existing OOH business of Summit Outdoor Media. This position shall look for big OOH business opportunities in infrastructure space like airports, transportation terminals and stations, etc.; to strategize and implement new projects and initiatives and turn them into revenue generating OOH business. This will also manage partnerships and alliances with private property owners and government agencies.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Identify new OOH business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services;
- Conduct careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets for each OOH project to ensure enhanced operation of the business while using the agile approach;
- Conceptualize and implement new initiatives and undertakings that will improve, expand and grow the existing OOH business of Summit Outdoor;
- Monitor and investigate the OOH industry in general for new trends and competition;
- Foster and develop business relationships with customers, suppliers and other OOH partners to expand network for new OOH projects;
- Mentor and lead his/her Business Development Team;
- Supervise the implementation of business development projects until completion including performance monitoring and evaluation of feedback for possible improvement or expansion of the project;
- Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep abreast of trends and changes in the OOH industry, locally and internationally;
- Prepare project status report on a regular basis for management monitoring use;
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse and fast paced environment;
- Very knowledgeable in various forms of out-of-home media (transit ads, in-store merchandising, digital signage, mall ads, etc.)
- Familiar with advertising client servicing, media planning, business planning and conducting project studies;
- Able to work with minimum supervision and guidance;
- Accustomed to working with KRA’s and monthly/annual targets;
- Highly persuasive and goal-oriented;
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Applications;
- Fun-loving, dynamic, and outgoing
