Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist  

You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content optimization, keyword strategies, and identifying areas to maximize organic results across major search networks. You will also support SEM campaigns on Google to maximize ROI in this full-time position dedicated to just one or two long-time clients.

• Collaborate with the development team to properly implement SEO best practices in a markup.
• Track and report website analytics, including traffic, content quality, design, security, features, and demographics to identify keywords, campaigns, and areas that need improvement.
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, programming tags, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Identify SEO trends and developments to strategize ways to improve and track key areas of importance to the client or company goals.
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery and expansion to gain most search engine traffic.
• Write and optimize original, engaging SEO copy for websites, blogs, and graphical ad templates.
• Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies such as social media and link building.
• Support paid search campaigns and initiatives with strategy recommendations, least expensive keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, quality score, impressions, and other PPC metrics.
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
• Keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics to avoid search engine guideline violations.

You MUST be highly organized with SEO, SEM, and pay-per-click (PPC) experience. EXCELLENT fluency in English including grammar is also an absolute MUST. Have an eye for detail, and be able to quickly discern what works and what doesn’t and take appropriate action. You must also be able to work day or night shift as may be required to fulfill our clients’ needs in our Gorordo area office in Cebu City.

• BS degree Marketing, IT, Communications, Math, or in a quantitative, test-driven field.
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
• Solid experience with a variety of analytics tools, including Google Analytics and internal reporting tools.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
• SEO and SEM experience managing campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
• Solid experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (AdWords, Bing). AdWords or Bing certification a plus.
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Ability to learn new industries quickly, and drive SEO initiatives to achieve client goals.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Great attention to detail and ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts.
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
• Ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
