Full Stack Developer  

• Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Build monitoring and have the ability to perform debugging in all areas of the code
• Report operational achievements and progress to the Software Development Manager on a regular basis
• Work effectively with other employees to collaborate toward a goal of providing user friendly applications
• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application development best practices
• Participate in company activities such as planning and design meetings, retrospectives, and other required process activities
• Direct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts

We are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer with 4 years experience developing complex web applications using Rails. Experience with PHP, Java, Node JS Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.

• 4-years experience developing user-facing applications and RESTful APIs with Ruby on Rails
• Graduate of Any Computer related course
• Help evolve our existing architecture, working with teams to improve operations, and implementing new features and functionality
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
• Demonstrable understanding of server-side templating languages
• Demonstrable understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as Sass
• Demonstrable understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Ability to integrate multiple new and existing data sources and databases into one system
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business process
