Senior SEO Specialist  

The SEO/SEM Specialist is responsible for supporting clients and the digital marketing team in executing search engine marketing audit and other technical setup.

As a Sr SEO Specialist, you will;

1. Execute search engine marketing processes and best practices within standards

• Conduct SEO website technical audit and recommendations.
• Setup SEO tools to track website traffic and performance (Google Analytics, Search Console other technical settings)
• Understanding the client’s marketing plan and developing and implementing strategies to attract, convert and connect, that are aligned to the business brand and target markets
• Regularly communicating with the client through identified channels

2. Get, want and have the capacity to fulfill the requirements of the seat

• Understanding and accomplishing training necessary to equip him or her with skills required for search engine marketing and digital marketing related tasks
• Increasing skill sets as team members grows within the digital marketing team

3. Fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators

• Monitoring and evaluating marketing processes and activities performed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
• Collaborating with various departments and tribed (Sales, IM, Social Media, Content, Design and Web Development) to meet the marketing goals
• Generating and interpreting marketing reports into actionable strategies based on data for traffic, conversion rates, email marketing KPIs, turnaround times and quality scores

4. Execute assigned tasks under innovation projects

• Supporting team and department in testing new SEO and PPC software/tools, processes or strategies and in documenting and sharing knowledge
• Learning and innovating with client and StraightArrow tools for search optimization such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Adwords, Screaming Frog, and SEO related tools; as well as other project management, communications and other digital marketing like ActiveCollab, HubSpot,Wordpress Publishing Tool, other CMS as needed

5. Serve as back-up/cover resource for key clients when needed

• Accomplish training in key client processes
• Provide backup support for key clients when needed (i.e during extended leaves, additional temporary headcount support, etc)
• Change work schedules for supporting key clients when needed

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Digital Marketing, and other related courses.
• 3-4 years work experience in search engine marketing and basic knowledge in PPC ads.
• Experience with using SEO tools e.g. Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Moz and Screaming Frog and other SEO related tools.
• Experience with Social Media ads is a plus
• Amenable to work from home following US shift (9PM-6AM) and has stable internet connection
