Web Development Team Lead  

Job Summary:

The Team Leader for Creative Technology (TL) serves as the manager and leader of a team with specialized skill sets in HTML email coding and development, working in the US time zone. It is the TL’s role to develop the people within the team so they maximize their potential, acquire and excel in relevant technical skills and work well within an account team.

He/she is accountable for the output of the team, ensuring that the team meets all agreed SLAs. He/she or she also serves as the Quality Champion for the team.

To advance in their managerial careers, the TL needs to identify, train and develop the next leader of the team.

Job Description:

• Ensure that agreed-to Operational SLAs with the client are met.
• Hire the best team members (Right People/Right Seats) to fill any vacant position in the team.
• Ensure that team members assigned to the account team match the required skill sets, personalities and experience.
• Guide every team member through his/her career track by:
  • Ensuring that every team member understands his/her career track
  • Ensuring that every team member has clear goals and metrics for the year
  • Ensuring that development plans for every team member are aligned with their goals and are in line with the requirements of career progression
• Coordinate with Process Engineering Group to provide any training requirements for team members.
• Work with PEG to ensure that team members do not lose any skill that they may not be exercising regularly.
• Regularly coach team members to help them address operational challenges, and achieve their performance goals and metrics.
• Check the quality of team member output as needed.
• Submit weekly, monthly and other required reports to the Client and/or SDG Head.

• 3-5 years of relevant front end developing and digital designing
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and modern JS libraries/frameworks.
• Taking ownership of the entire front end tasks
• Taking sketch, photoshop, and rough wireframe designs and turning them into highly functional and beautiful HTML/CSS websites, landing pages and mobile websites
• Exceptional experience with email template development
• Strong knowledge and familiarity of Adobe Suite and associated design tools
• High attention to detail, obsessed with design and able to work autonomously
• Good organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Capable of working concurrently on several projects
• Amenable to work on US shift (8pm-5am), Mon-Fri in Pasig City
