Job Description

Operations Management

  • Oversees the daily operations of two stores;
  • Prepares staff scheduling and manpower allocation for store open hours;
  • Prepares a contingency plan to ensure continuous Store Operations;
  • Review and handle proposals on various transactions from external groups;
  • Engage and communicate with external providers, updates them, and assess the concepts they carry in relation to the brands;
  • Process the purchase of required store operations related needs, prepares the costing, and accounts all expenses regularly;
  • Plans the annual calendar of activities for the two brands;
  • Implement marketing strategies to boost the sales and revenue of the brands;
  • Organizes all approved store events;
  • Coordinates with the team and all parties concerned during events;
  • Handles customer requests and complaints, collects significant customer feedback, tallies the number of customers, and creates a report summary to be submitted to the President; and
  • Keeps the President informed by preparing reports and making other recommendations as may be necessary.

Store Inventory Management

  • Performs regular checking of store inventories, encode accurate details required and sends the inventory report to the Administrative Assistant for costing and for submission to the Accounting Department;
  • Prepares and/or checks important financial documents;
  • Ensure all store equipment used in the two stores are accounted through asset tagging and are listed in an asset inventory tracker;
  • Propose possible new items needed in the inventory; and
  • Ensure that all supplies required to run daily operations for the two stores are well stocked, consistently monitored and dispensed appropriately.

Brand Management

  • Review and provide feedback on marketing collaterals such as graphic designs for posters and other materials for events which are prepared and created by the House Artist and Designer;
  • Creates brand plans and strategies for sales, operations and promotions of the store, and ensures that the marketing and activities align with the goals of the brands;
  • Analyzes systems and process work flows, identifies trends, prepares sales forecasts for continuous improvement of the stores, and forwards these findings or recommendations to the President;
  • Monitors marketing trends and competitive products in the marketplace to come up with new product concepts to boost the store brands;
  • Recommend ideas, concepts, events, activities, new menu list, new merchandise, and or possible corporate giveaways or packages to the President for review and approval;
  • Prepare action plans for both store operations aligned with the brand, vision and goals of the stores and submits these to the President for review and approval;
  • Co-administer social media platforms, specifically Instagram and Facebook, by checking photos and reviewing suggested captions by the House Artist and Designer for both brands prior submission for approval of the President; and
  • Secure approval of all reviewed collaterals to be used for marketing or posted to social media platforms from the President before posting these materials on the social media platforms specified.

Store Space Management & Maintenance

  • Monitors maintenance of space and equipment in the two stores;
  • Escalate any issues found in any of the stores managed to the Building Infrastructure Team;
  • Monitors the periodic maintenance requirements of store equipment and facilities;
  • Review suggested store space design concepts or ideas submitted by the House Artist and Designer;
  • Ensures that all housekeeping requirements are regularly performed by direct reports or employees assigned; and
  • Ensures that the spaces are maximized for the two stores.

Performance Management & Administrative Functions

  • Heads the weekly team meeting, attends the monthly meeting with the President, and gives quarterly updates to the President;
  • Communicate issues with the team, and develop ways to improve overall harmony and the general wellbeing of the employees;
  • Performs new hire employee on-boarding;
  • Coordinates any request for the team and asks the approval of the President before implementing;
  • Reviews and signs leave and overtime forms of employees;
  • Conducts performance appraisals to assigned direct reports and prepares a developmental plan for each;
  • Ensure regular coaching and mentoring is done to teams handled and to specific direct reports; and
  • Document the processes of the two stores and files these processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Management, Marketing or Business Administration, or any relevant field preferred
  • Preferably with relevant work experience in the retail/sales industry and food and beverages
  • At least two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial capacity
