Job Description
- Keeps updated on latest technical trends and news for possible opportunities to propose or develop new projects;
- Prepares business concept through drafting of project charter, conducting initial scoping and creating high-level project financials;
- Conducts research and drafts technical requirements of the projects – which should include the system functions and validations as based on business rules/government regulations and policies – to be provided to the technical counterparts for scoping and development;
- Creates and delivers comprehensive and creative presentations to be used in gaining project approval, both internally and for prospective clients;
- Coordinates with all concerned internal departments and divisions to create a realistic project schedule as well as precise project financials;
- Monitors progress of projects during application development and internal testing and communicates updates to all necessary stakeholders of the project;
- Creates test scenarios for comprehensive assessment and functional testing of developed applications prior to internal approval;
- Ensures that all necessary documentation are prepared for the project – which may include coordination with the Legal Division for drafting of agreements between parties involved and policies/procedures/guidelines to be endorsed to prospective clients;
- Helps formulate implementation strategies – which take into consideration risk mitigation and change management – and develops the implementation plan;
- Assists in seeking project approval from prospective clients which include testing procedures and sign-off documentation;
- Drafts training and user manuals, briefs and trains all departments/divisions which are involved with the project;
- Ensures the proper turn-over of projects to the operating group once the project has been rolled out and deployed;
- Maintains orderly files of project documentation and updates as necessary;
- Reviews operational projects periodically to assess if enhancements or improvements may be introduced and developed; and
- Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his superiors from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any Business Administration, Management or Information Technology related courses
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
