Job Description
- Plan, organize, and provide supervision for repair and maintenance activities in the stores and other company locations (i.e. Head Office, Warehouse, etc.) covering lighting, signages and other electrical fixtures, aircon, display modules/fixtures, plumbing work, etc.
- Supervises and evaluates the work of both in-house maintenance employees and outside contractors.
- Coordinates repair and maintenance activities with those of other sections and departments.
- Inspects and troubleshoots maintenance work and performs related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, licensed
- At least 3 years experience as Maintenance Officer or similar job role, preferably from a company with multiple facilities
- Working knowledge of safety practices and principles related to maintenance activities
- Working knowledge of applicable codes, regulations and other building standards
- Knowledge of basic computer applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Can handle multiple simultaneous projects
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events and overtime, as needed
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-working ability
