Job Description
- Ensures maximum PR coverage for the brands of Stores Specialists, Inc.
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivates new contacts within lifestyle media, both print and online
- Manage media inquiries such as interview or shoot requests
- Creates contents for press releases based on directives of brands’ foreign principals
- Handles all arrangements for SSI-initiated editorial shoot requirements: models, makeup, stylists, merchandise pull outs, budgets, choice of venue, and coordination with PR agency
- Monitors monthly PR mileage on a per brand basis
- Attends to special requests made by stylists and editors for loaning of press samples from foreign principal, and ensures their timely return.
- Ensures quick processing of requests for borrowing of merchandise from the stores by the media
- Coordinates press events and press junkets.
Minimum Qualifications
- With at least three years relevant experience in the field of publicity or press relations
- College graduate from a reputable university
- Outgoing personality, highly confident, comfortable in social situations
- With sufficient degree of maturity that will enable her to supervise one(1) PR assistant and one(1) PR staff
- High degree of proficiency in both oral and written English
