We’re looking for an innovative and discerning Talent Acquisition Specialist who functions as a strategic business partner, ensuring that Talent Acquisition approaches proactively service company objectives and business strategies. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist in the People Department, you’ll be responsible for bringing in the right talent, as well as being a professional representation of the StoreHub brand and work ethics.

You don’t need to know everything about our industry (even we don’t!). But the work is challenging, fast paced, and always on the bleeding edge. So, we’re looking for someone with a curious mind, a strong drive to make things happen, and a passion to keep improving yourself.

You must be able to thrive in an environment where there are constrained resources, and product/market fit is just being established.

What you will do:

  • Maintain meaningful work relationships with managers in the company to have a firm grasp of business strategies and understanding of the talent needs.
  • Align and apply the TA strategies, processes, and recruitment methodologies within the region.
  • Be an ambassador for our EVP by setting and managing the company’s tone of voice and messaging strategies, as well as increase positive engagement across all internal and external talent touch-points.
  • Maintain a high level of TA service delivery with strong execution according to the KPI set.
  • Engage candidates via multiple sourcing options and techniques to build an ongoing talent pool, while effectively identifying and sharing promising profiles of candidates with Hiring Managers.
  • Gather position requirements, formulate job scopes, promote open positions, do lead sourcing, filtering, assessments, and negotiations with vendors.
  • Actively and frequently collaborate on HR business strategy projects with a multicultural People Department.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HR data integrity, and adherence to government regulations.
  • Partner with the People Manager in designing, developing, and implementing People-related processes, policies, and experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

You would be great for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 3 years of Talent Acquisition experience, within in-house or agency setting.
  • Experience as a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist is a plus.
  • A strong command of the English language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The necessary skills and experiences as a recruiter to create/explore innovative/novel ways of assessing candidates’ competencies, strengths, drive, behaviour, attitude, culture fit, etc. (through interviews, assignments, social experiments, etc.)
  • Skills in relationship-building across functions and levels, with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • An incredible desire for accuracy and detail-orientedness.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs, while handling multiple tasks with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • An inclination towards solution-based thinking and data-driven decision making.
  • Understanding of the local labour law and regulations, and of corporate policies.
  • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
