Job Description
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the HR functions, specifically on employee and/or labor relations, HR information systems (PeopleSoft) and benefits administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Onsite HR support and act as liaison for employees
- Responsible for handling management, employee and discipline concerns
- Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the HRIS and payroll data
- May assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and their communication to the employees
- May assist with the administration of the compensation system
- May assist with the administration of benefit programs
Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Licenses, Knowledge, Education and Training Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- At least two (2) years’ experience in HR -- Employee Relations is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Philippine employment laws
- Knowledge of HR management practices, preferably in the BPO setting
- Public speaking capabilities helpful
- Good problem resolution skills
- Excellent ability to handle conflict
- Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position
- Excellent English communication skills
- Amenable to work on Night Shift schedule
Level of Knowledge, Skills, and Authority:
- Applies job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity
- Exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action
