Job Description

  • Processes all service desk requests.
  • Opens and closes incidents with a customer satisfaction focus
  • Monitors incident management queues
  • Answers calls, troubleshoots, and attempts first contact closure
  • Owns assigned incidents through closure
  • Utilizes remote control and other tools to resolve requests/incidents
  • Records and documents all incident activity appropriately
  • Participates in the creation of content for the knowledge management system
  • Understands and adheres to local standard operating procedures
  • Provides outstanding customer service

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, Bachelor’s/College Degree – Computer Science/Information Technology or IT-related courses
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience with SharePoint, preferably in SharePoint 2010
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint 2007 or 2010 platform
  • Experience troubleshooting, supporting, and/or administering Microsoft SharePoint, a strong advantage
  • SharePoint Standard Feature experience
  • Current SharePoint end-user, a strong advantage
  • Candidates with excellent MS Excel, MS Access skills and knowledge, a strong advantage
  • Service Desk/Helpdesk experience and knowledge of ticketing system is an advantage
