Job Description

  • Conducts cGMP and Food Safety training annually as requirement and to all new employees of SHG
  • Conducts Suppliers, Warehouse and Store Audit as scheduled and ensure completion of audit cycle
  • Coordinates pest control and deep cleaning schedule with contractors and stores; ensures 100% implementation
  • Monitors and coordinates with stores on pest sightings and submits report for cockpit purposes
  • File Maintenance: QMS Manual, Operations Manual, Product Specification Manual, Raw Material Specification Manual, Microbiological Test Records, Pest Control Records, Customer Specification Manual and LGU records
  • Applies administrative and record keeping process to support quality and food safety program of the company
  • Works closely with operations in terms of product specification updates and documentation
  • Handles testing, evaluation, coordination and documentation of product evaluation, cleaning and sanitation chemicals/tools
  • Attends and coordinates with guest relations in handling customer feedback with regards to quality
  • Attends store and supplier feedback
  • Performs other duties assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • A graduate of Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology
  • Knowledgeable in Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, HACCP
  • Proficient in sensory evaluation
  • Initiative, adaptability and communication skills are necessary for the position
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

In 2011, Yabu: House of Katsu was introduced as our first venture, located in a pocket of a space in a busy mall. An all-original concept, it was the first of its kind to introduce authentic Japanese katsu in a casual environment. With all the right elements in place, Yabu became an undoubted success—a fact that still holds true, more than five years since it opened. A few years following its emergence, we partnered with globally recognized ramen brand Ippudo in 2014. The Standard Group eventually grew to become Ippudo’s best operator, globally. At that point, we had a total of 15 shops. By then, introducing a new brand into the market was in order. So in December of 2016, New York City’s prime barbeque brand, Mighty Quinn’s, opened its doors. In the last half decade, The Standard Group has gone from being a hopeful group with an earnest 100 square-meter space, to a key player in the local dining scene, with three brands and closing in on 20 shops around the city (and counting).
