Job Description
The Assistant Vice President for Nursing Care Group is responsible for assisting the Vice President and Head of Nursing Care (QC) in formulating, developing, coordinating and managing the Group’s operations activities, programs, projects, policies, practices and procedures to ensure productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
The incumbent effectively manages the competency requirements and applications of Nursing Practice covering areas outside Nursing Care Group such as Wellness Center, Emergency Services, Outpatient Department, Infection Control Services, Medical Institutes/Centers/Departments/Services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse with Masterals Degree or Doctorate Degree in Nursing
- With five (5) years experience in the function of managing the assigned Division or in other functions that could be directly linked with the assigned Division.
- Of good standing Status with PNA
- Strong background in Clinical Nursing Practices in hospital operations and/or ancillary services; strong verbal/written communication skills, updated with the latest trends in the functions applicable in a Tertiary Hospital Institution
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
