Job Description

The basic duties and responsibilities of a Department Manager for Clinical Advancement are as follows:

  • Directs and manages all external trainings provided by the department to the concerned units of the Medical Center.
  • Develops and directs the implementation of established group plans such as policies, procedures, protocols, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Formulates Department goals, objective, and strategies; and develops annual operational plans.
  • Analyzes the needs of the department or scope areas, studies; and benchmarks new trends/best practices in the field of Nursing.
  • Supervises and manages unit's staff and delegates work assignments for efficient and smooth operation of the unit.
  • Actively participates in the conduct of performance appraisal for all associates, and recommends for recognition and promotion.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PRC Registered Nurse, and must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • At least five (5) years experience in Clinical Nursing/Academe with an inclusive of 1-2 years nursing administration experience.
  • Mastery of nursing management and administration, and must be well versed in clinical research.
  • Excellent leadership skills, and strong and effective communication skills.
