Job Description
The basic duties and responsibilities of a Department Manager for Clinical Advancement are as follows:
- Directs and manages all external trainings provided by the department to the concerned units of the Medical Center.
- Develops and directs the implementation of established group plans such as policies, procedures, protocols, and other regulatory requirements.
- Formulates Department goals, objective, and strategies; and develops annual operational plans.
- Analyzes the needs of the department or scope areas, studies; and benchmarks new trends/best practices in the field of Nursing.
- Supervises and manages unit's staff and delegates work assignments for efficient and smooth operation of the unit.
- Actively participates in the conduct of performance appraisal for all associates, and recommends for recognition and promotion.
Minimum Qualifications
- PRC Registered Nurse, and must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing.
- At least five (5) years experience in Clinical Nursing/Academe with an inclusive of 1-2 years nursing administration experience.
- Mastery of nursing management and administration, and must be well versed in clinical research.
- Excellent leadership skills, and strong and effective communication skills.
