Job Description
The primary responsibility of a Data Scientist is to evaluate and improve Sprout's products and growth strategies. The data scientist develops, prepare, and manages predictive models thought completion; and synthesizes and leverages our database to provide timely and integrated views of our customer's usage, support, relationship and subscription data.
- Develop predictive models utilizing a variety of statistical, machine learning, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence algorithms
- Organize raw data in spreadsheets
- Analyzes data and deciphers key takeaways
- Creates charts and graphs to display results for visual messaging
- Designs experiments to answer targeted questions
- Communicate complex analyses in a clear and actionable manner
- Recruit and mentor a world - class team
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Statistics / Mathemathics or equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Working knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Experience and/or involvment in software development projects
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong team player with good communication and presentation skills
- Displays a strong track record of being a high achiever and being results driven
