Job Description
- Responsible for analyzing, designing, programming and modifying complex conversion/coding requirements according to established procedures defined by both client and business unit.
- Analyzes Project/Functional Requirements and checks the elements in relation to the conversion to be done
- Codes programs to build elements such as headline, body, etc. as defined in the project/functional instructions
- Ensures the integrity of coded programs through Code Review—conducted by both internal (SPi) and external (Client) reviewers
- Ensures completeness of project-related information and data to effectively perform the assigned task
- Investigates cause of delays, production errors and client-feedback for consolidation of report
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Computer-related degrees
- Must have experience in Software Development
- Must have hands-on experience in HTML, XML, SGML, XSLT, DTD
- Must have hands-on experience in Perl, Java, Shell and Omnimark scripting
- Must have good analytical/troubleshooting and observation skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to navigate operating systems, including Windows, DOS, and UNIX
