  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science major in Computer or Electronics Technology;
  • Preferably with experience in the academe;
  • Preferably with industrial training;
Job Description
  • Establish linkage to companies for on-job-training of Computer and Electronics Technology Students.
  • Identify the needs of the learners.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver course syllabus and instructional materials that facilitate learning activities and as to the identified needs.
  • Develop scheme of work, lesson plans and test according to the established protocol.
  • Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
  • Manage student discipline by establishing and enforcing classroom rules and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete students’ progress and report.
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and immediate head/chairperson/dean/coordinators.
  • Establish and communicate clear learning objectives.
  • Observe and evaluate the students’ performance and development, record rating in an approved and appropriate documentation records.
  • Participate in the department/college/university meetings, programs and activities and other extra-curricular activities.
  • Make oneself available for consultation, academic advising and other relevant functions that develop the students’ well-being.
  • Participate in formulating the research agenda of the university.
  • Encourage students to become creative, innovative and productive researchers.
  • Publish researchers/articles/monographs in recognized local journals and magazines.
  • Participate in extension programs aimed at developing and implementing projects that help preserve indigenous culture.
  • Be involve in developing and implementing activiites on literacy, health and wellness education, political education, agriculture and environmental education, vocational and technical training, multi-cultural and values education and livelihood training programs.
  • Attend diligently on other tasks that may be assigned or designated.
