Job Description
- Take responsibility for and resolve technical issues over the phone or email
- Perform remote troubleshooting related to system problems such as mail delivery issues, networking issues, and server issues
- Determine the best solution based on the issues resolved by users
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Assist our engineering team with projects during the after hours (i.e. cloud migrations to Office 365 and others)
- Responding to and resolving issues raised by our monitoring system
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting third party application issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
- Atleast 3 to 5 years experience in an IT support environment dealing with end users via phone, email or chat
- Good experience with Windows Server and Networking
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policies
- Experience with DNS, DHCP
- Experience with File and Print Servers
- Experience with Virtualization (VMware, HyperV, etc.)
- Experience with Highly Available Server Configuration (VMware Cluster, HyperV Clusters)
- Experience with Hosted Mail Services, Antivirus Software, Firewall Management, and Backup Solutions
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills required
