- Manufactures mould Inserts and mould components according to specifications.
- Manufactures jigs and fixtures according to specifications.
- Supports optimizing projects.
- Optimizes the process regarding maintenance of tools and new production tools.
- Assists in creating ad maintaining the documantation for managing product quality and documentation.
- Does proper documentation of periodical maintenance and utilization.
- Handles machining using wire cut of mould projects for tooling and repair projects.
- Makes parts that conforms to dimensional tolerances as specified in the drawing.
- Keeps and updates inventory on tools, accessories and instruments used on CNC wire-cut machine.
- Handles machining of jigs and fixtures.
- Performs machining operations like turning, milling, surface grinding, CNC milling and other equipments in the tool shop.
- Checks the inserts, components, jigs and fixtures and prepare necessary reports to ensure quality before delivery.
- Conducts programming using wire edm programs.
- Reports to Tool shop Manager on the machining progress of the projects under him/her.
- Ensures safety and maintenance of machines and tools in the tool shop, especially wire edm.
- Maintains good housekeeping 5S, proper teamwork and coordination between all other department in achieving the compliance of the company’s Quality and Environmental Management System.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field specially Wirecut/ EDM/ CNC is required for this position and must be able to work with some of the following equipment:
- CNC milling machine
- Wirecut
- EDM
- General grinding
- Knowledge and competency on
- 3D CAD softwares
- Wire-EDM
- electrode design
- CAD-CAM softwares
- Knows how to read and interpret technical drawings – First angle projection and Third Angle projection
- Precision molding die, die assembly and repairs
- Knowledgeable Jigs and Fixtures
- Must be willing to work in FPIP, Tanauan City, Batangas.
