Logistics Supervisor  

Logistics Operations

• To be the overall responsible for the efficient operation of Logistics Section. Functions in the following areas are under his/her responsibility:
• Receiving of Incoming Goods
• Storage and Control of Raw Materials, Sundries, Chemicals, Consumables, Tools & Spare Parts and Packing Materials.
• Issuance of materials (Kanban / Supermarket System)
• Control of Tools and Spare parts
• Data Controlling
• Inventory Control (Material Inventory Count)
• Import and Export Control and Clearances
• To formulate and implement effective and efficient systems and procedures in his/her section.
• To ensure security of all materials stored in the Warehouse.
• To conduct monthly and annual material inventory count and ensures accuracy based on Dynamics vs. Actual.
• To ensure issuance of goods to production or other end-users without delay to support smooth flow of operations to produce quality products.
• To monitor and promptly report expiration of chemicals.
• To generate necessary reports under his/her area of responsibility.
• To communicate, support, and coordinate with other SCM Sections or Departments towards achieving overall Sonion Targets.
• To handle other task as assigned by his/her superior after necessary training is done.

Team Management

• To effectively lead the whole Logistics Team to perform required tasks including reasonable job allocation, team work building and motivation, staff coaching and staff performance evaluation.
• To lead Logistics Team with action plan to achieve the set Supply Chain Management targets.
• To have a proper and achievable training plan for the Logistics Team

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
• Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge in Warehouse Management.
• In-depth knowledge in FIFO System.
• In-depth knowledge in Kanban System.
• Knowledge on Incoterms (International Commercial Terms)
• Knowledge in PEZA, PDEA, BOC procedures and requirements.
• Knowledge in forecasting and scheduling based on inventory status and production demand.
• Knowledge in Group Management
• Basic understanding of ISO systems:
  • Know about the Quality& Environment Policy (what they are about and where they are posted or filed)
  • Understand that employees have to perform according to SBS which was built according to the ISO systems.
  • Must go through the ISO awareness training which is part of orientation program for all new hire.
