1. Troubleshooting of daily product quality issues.
2. Initiate yield improvement action plans and analyze yield trends to meet SBA targets.
3. Develop and maintain process controls to ensure product performance and reliability.
4. Conduct failure analysis of non-conforming products.
5. Standardize working method, ensure process compliance, and help maintain Quality Management System documentation in the production line (based on ISO 9001).
6. Quality Function Tests and Non-Conforming Product Disposition.
7. Training and Certification of operators and inspectors.
8. Respond to Customer Complaints using 8D methodology and other PSM tools.
9. Publish quality reports, conduct statistical studies and trends analysis of product performance, materials and methods related to production. Compute and analyze process capability issues.
10. Support product introduction and ensure new machines, fixtures, and materials are validated prior production release.
11. Identify areas for improvement based on cost analysis and capacity constraints (including yield, efficiency and material consumption) and address by structured project based approach (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, or Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in a production engineering position.
- Has professional knowledge in 8D Problem Solving, Control Plan, FMEA, Statistical Process Control and SixSigma Methodology.
