Job Description
- Install and configure company software, hardware and networks
- Monitor and maintain IT systems and troubleshoot issues that arise
- Upgrade IT systems with new releases and models
- Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure particularly servers
- Manage IT infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes.
- Set up employee accounts and workstations
- Troubleshoot IT issues and outages
- Ensure IT security to be free from breach and attacks through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Provide user technical support for both hardware and software issues
- Quickly arrange repair for hardware in occasion of hardware failure
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation and manuals
- Perform other assigned task
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a 4 or 5- year IT related course
- Has relevant work experience in the IT field (IT operation support, Business Systems and administration and technical support)
- Knowledge in relational databases and SQL queries.
- IT and computing skills.
- Knowledge in ERP Systems and data administration.
- Knowledge in network (LAN, WAN), Microsoft server services and switches
- Good communication skills
- Can explain technical terms to a non-IT employee
- Impeccable problem solving skills and logic application
- Willing to work under pressure and extended hours
