Job Description

Responsible for contributing towards marketing management efforts for the company. As the Asst. Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the brand strategies and propositions, driving tactical promotion activities to achieve business objectives. This must be a hardworking and trustworthy individual with a high level of accuracy, keen attention to detail, high standard of organization, great time management skills, and proactive communication. This will work closely with Customer Service, Social Media and other Marketing Teams to integrate marketing strategy into all processes. This will also directly report to the Company’s General Manager.


DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy

  • Leads the development of the business plan and brand strategy.
  • Fully understand and communicate marketing strategies.
  • Actively seeks for consumer insights.
  • Identifies relevant target markets, audiences and channels and the most appropriate vehicles to reach them.
  • Plans media strategy for the brand, evaluates and analyses media performance on a regular basis.
  • Translate Global strategies into effective channel, consumer, trade and digital strategies.
  • Compile regular marketing reports to ensure business and operational efficiency
  • Social Media - Monitoring and Engagement
  • Creates, schedules and monitors social media posts for multiple brands on various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram
  • Responds to feedback and any questions that may be posted on our social media profiles and review sites using the brand voice.
  • Keeps up with social media and brand-appropriate topics, trends, news and blog articles to be shared internally or to our social media communities.
  • Includes but not limited to (replies, reactions, mentions, feedback from users) across various social networks and websites.
  • Looks for fresh news, updates and other materials to post (e.g. Trading events and other opportunities to promote our brands).
  • Monitors alerts for keywords around products, brands and competitors.
  • Works with Social Media and Customer Service Teams to help resolve any customer issues when needed.
  • Monitors competitors publishing fake reviews.
  • Marketing Corporate Events
  • Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other associates, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Up-sells products and services throughout the event process.
  • Forecasts group sleeping rooms and event revenue (catering and audio visual) for his/her groups.
  • Identifies operational challenges associated with his/her group and determines how to best work with the property staff and customer to solve these challenges\ and/or develop alternative solutions.
  • Build and be responsible for marketing budget which includes provisions for Materials, Events and Digital
  • Prepare, manage and control marketing budget effectively. Ensure that all spends are high impact, cost effective and supports marketing strategies.

Reputation Management

  • Monitors online reviews outside of brand.
  • Creates and prepares development of search results analyses and impacts.

Campaigns

  • Creates, executes and monitors social media campaigns and paid social media initiatives
  • Strategize and launch campaigns related to strengthening brand reputation
  • Works with other organic and paid marketing teams in formulating campaigns and strategies

Analysis and Reporting

  • Compile regular marketing reports to ensure business and operational efficiency
  • Makes recommendations and comes up with marketing strategies based on data gathered
  • Increases positive involvement and responses in social networks.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK

  • Execution of Social Media Websites
  • Regulates, analyze and plan the overall sales and marketing of the Company
  • Reports client’s feedbacks or comments

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any field preferably Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Has at least two (2) years of work experience in the field of Public Relations (PR), Social Media or Digital Marketing, or Reputation Management.
  • Highly knowledgeable with Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and others) and content strategy.
  • Must have very high quality English writing skills.
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn different software platforms.
  • Has high initiative, creative thinker, good organizational skills, and keen attention to details.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Trustworthiness and respect for confidential information.
  • Experience in advertising/public relations agencies and/or marketing multiple brands is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable in working through a task via electronic means (email, chat and task management applications).
