- Prepare company’s BIR Mandatory Requirements.
- Support monthly, quarterly and year end close processes, account reconciliations.
- Resolve disputed items in a timely matter.
- Exercise considerable judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Interact and communicate efficiently.
- Perform all tax compliance, such as Bureau of Internal Revenue filings, registrations, etc.
- Ensure that tax reporting reconciles with the book of accounts.
- Handle monthly Expanded Withholding Tax, withholding tax on compensation, and Alphalist.
- Handle VAT return preparation on monthly and quarterly basis including Summary List of Sales and Purchases.
- Handle Tax assessments.
- Monitor BIR form 2307 completion.
- Prepare tax schedule for audit process.
- Prepare responses letter and coordinate to BIR.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Finance Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Preferably a CPA.
- Previous work experience.
- With related experience in a corporate accounting/finance environment.
- Basic to strong understanding of Accounting.
- Excellent computer skills including complex spreadsheet (MS Office).
- Great organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to translate the analysis into appropriate recommendations or action plans.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to communicate complex processes in a clear and concise manner in both oral and written form.
- Good presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Can work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
