Job Description
Solar Philippines is currently looking for Supply Chain experts who will develop relationships and implement strategies with suppliers to ensure continuous material supply at industry leading prices and quality levels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies
- Drive suppliers to ensure material availability and readiness for the product builds
- Initiate purchase orders and track spend
- Understand component lead time and evaluate associate supply chain risks
- Create Request for Quotation (RFQ) template and prepare RFQ documentation for general supply management review
- Develop supply plans to achieve inventory turns while meeting service level and market needs
- Be able to negotiate effectively with key suppliers
- Lead for defining and implementing best in class cross-functional processes and systems to improve decision making and efficiencies
- Proactively identify and work to resolve issues of supply and demand imbalances
- Develop and enhance metrics to track and improve KPIs
- Work directly with the management on corrective actions where/when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Graduate of a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, forecasting, demand and supply planning, S&OP, procurement and cost negotiation
- Experience in construction and power projects is preferred
- Ability to use systems such as ERP, as well as proficiency in MS Excel. Netsuite experience is a plus.
- With proven ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Able to quickly adjust priorities to meet business needs at multiple levels within the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to take complex data and present to target audience
- With exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management experience in leading small and large system implementation as well as KPIs improvement initiatives
- High energy, visionary but also execution and customer-driven individual; ambitious with the potential to grow
