Job Description
- Conduct civil design works, and for specific responsibility as assigned by the Civil/Structural Manager
- Perform civil design works in Civil 3D
- Conduct Project/Site Structural Inspection whenever necessary
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Knowledge/Certification
- Must be a licensed Civil Engineer
Skills/Qualifications
- Must be a Structural Design Engineer
- Must be proficient in STAAD
- Must be knowledgeable in NSCP Code, ASCE, UBC-ASD, LRFD, AISI
- Preferably knowledgeable with AutoCAD
- Well verse in designing the whole structure both substructure and superstructure considering the followings:
- Wind Forces
- Seismic Forces
- Soil Bearing Capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – fluent in English with good presentation skills
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years as Structural Design Engineer with experience using STAAD
- Experienced in designing buildings, roads, drainage, foundation pads
- Experienced in designing transmission poles and foundation is preferred
- Experienced in designing Solar Plant Structure is preferred
