Job Description

This position is responsible for assuring the quality and timely delivery of employee compensation, benefits and rewards by formulating and implementing appropriate compensation and benefits programs, policies, procedures and systems to effectively attract, retain and motivate high performing individuals

  • Endorses improvements on policies and procedures in compensation and benefits
  • Validates availments of company and government benefits based on given policies and procedures; recommends approval/disapproval of benefits application
  • Oversees the efficient administration and speedy processing of employee benefits to meet employee expectations.
  • Ensures that employee queries, concerns, issues and complaints are resolved or responded to promptly.
  • Prepares and utilizes various communication vehicles (bulletins, memos, meetings, forum, etc.) to update employees on benefits availment and guidelines, and provide feedback on status of benefits applications.
  • Reviews and processes all benefits applications and related documents, ensuring compliance to guidelines and completion of required supporting documents, to facilitate speedy processing at the providers’ end.
  • Establishes and maintains good rapport and relationship with government and private benefits providers (SSS, Pag-ibig, PhilHealth, HMO, Insurance, etc.) to obtain info/updates on new benefits availment guidelines, procedures, etc. and address issues, concerns, complaints of employees.
  • Keeps and updates accurate records and filing of benefits applications and availments on leaves, medicine reimbursements, rice, EFA, etc.
  • Initiates / conducts studies on benefits availment, assisting the Compensation and Benefits Manager in recommending upgrading/improvement of existing package.
  • Prepares and submits monthly benefits update for consolidation into the HR Monthly Report.
  • Coordinates with Payroll and Treasury to ensure that appropriate deductions for loans, contributions, etc. are done.
  • Performs various admin-related office works to ensure compliance with requirement of office administration.
  • Observes established safety and health standard procedures / regulations in carrying out duties and responsibilities.
  • Performs other job-related duties that may be assigned by superior from time.
  • Plans, directs and implements training activities on a quarterly or semi-annual basis.
  • Designs and conducts technical training programs that are customized and responsive to the needs of the target group.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College Graduate. With Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration and other related courses
